Wide world horizon

Wide World Horizon is a participatory drawing project in progress, which explores the potential of the ‘line’ as a temporal and spatial trace and as a narrative element. People from different geographical locations are being invited to draw a freehand line with the material of their choice on a postcard that they will receive from me and send it back to me. Each drawing contribution bears the individual handwriting of its maker and constitutes at the same time the evidence of its invisible way to its final destination. The project attempts to create an alternative mapping of geographical distances as well as a displacement of established spatial boundaries.
